The Fed just announced another slew of new borrowing.

I have to shake my head and wonder how much longer they can get away with this before it begins causing a major disruption. People should already be running for cover.

I haven't taken any yet. I will when I once again get to the bank box! although I dont understand why its so important to you?. I do have this photo I took a while back with some of my gold bars, coins, and Platinum eagles and silver I do go to work each day and dont have time to pop over to the bank on a whim but I will take more photos JUST FOR YOU! I guess there is a little more then 9 ounces of gold in this photo as well as 1 and 1 half ounces of Platinum . I have 2000 silver eagles but I will need a step ladder to get the whole photo in frame . I know its not much to most folks here in the forum but I am a poor man so I just have to do what I can.

No ones going to buy trillions of dollars of debt except the FED. Massive inflation combined with staggering interest rates to control it seems
    unavoidable.

Showing me 500 Credit Suisse 1oz gold bars would not impress me at all. 10,000 ASEs wouldnt impress me at all either. Its not that I want to see your complete wad, so much as it is that im extremely interested in unusual gold bars like 2 and 3 oz pieces. So im not "calling you out". Im simply salivating to see all those 2 and 3 ounce gold bars you talked about in your other post.

I must be getting old since I can remember when the Federal deficit for a full year was less than $197 billion. image

I've just recently started to come to my senses that I too am getting "old". Sneaks right up on you. Seems like yesterday I was 17 with no worries.

I don't have any odd size Gold bars but I do have Silver bars and rounds of all shapes and sizes from 1 gram to 100 oz. including several 3 oz. bars. I'm not wealthy enough to collect Gold bars of all shapes and sizes.

Once August is done, there are still 4 more auctions in Sept and October. Between currency swaps with foreign nations and buying back bonds from primary dealers after the auction, the FED can hide some or all of its monetization.

When the fall starts, I am afraid it will be sudden and supprise

even those who believe that they are prepared. When the Government

says that we are turning the corner, I just can not bring myself to

believe it. People are now raiding their 40lKs in order to survive. Credit

cards and bank accounts are maxed out. Just where is the turn around

    supposed to happen?

How do you know this, Bear? Just askin'.

Since housing is no longer functional as a cash machine, how long will they keep trying to pump up the stock market as a cash machine? And how long is it possible with P/E's already way above historic levels.

P/Es can't continue at a high level indefinitely, earnings would have to skyrocket, which they are not doing, incidently.

Maybe high-end Large Cent guys are liquidating their 401Ks in order to buy Holmes Collection coins?

What good is retirement without some nice-looking Large Cents, anyhow?image
