Learning with my Landstar

I used to MD a lot back in the '70's, and the last detector I bought and used back then was a White's Coinmaster IV. Recently I got the urge to start up again so I bought a Bounty Hunter "Landstar". Wow ... a bit of a steep learning curve for me! Anyway, I've had it out twice now and have been working the grassed areas at an old school here in my town. Nothing old AT ALL yet, but the first day out I found $2.06 and yesterday I came home with $3.10 ... all recent stuff. Surprising amount of quarters and dimes, but it runs the gamut.

I've been working in all metal mode, and then checking any signal I get with discrimination to see how accurate the thing is. I have to say Im pretty impressed.

I'm sure I'll eventually run across something cool to post. Thank you all for your stories and pics, because that's what has gotten me thinking about this stuff again.
