My additions to the bulk submission. I had one other (viola rookie) that was given to Mike as a gift for all of the work he did. He deserves so much more....
Will do - I really like the Uecker signed card! I remember he was a tough in-person autograph back in the '80s when he would come to Fenway with the Brewers. I never was able to get him to sign!
Buying or trading for these signed Jeter rc's: 1992 GCL, 93 Stadium Club, 93 Greensboro,, 93 South Atlantic League, 93 Topps Marlins & Rockies,, 94 Classic Tampa, 94 Procards Tampa, 94 Florida State League & 95 Columbus Clippers.
<< <i>There are some cool Pele cards from the Italian series that go far back...how about trying to add him to your collection. You seem to be able to add just about anything! >>
While finding a PELE' autograph around the world is not difficult, finding his "rookie" card is near impossible. I have only seen one item prior to 1958 - and it was listed at $10,000 !
His cards began to appear in Italian sets by the early 1960's and are still quite easy to find. If you want to get one signed from his first year - there was a card released in Sweden in 1958 that might fill the void.
The next difficulty would be to track him down - he travels all over the world - probably more than the President. I have had the handful of occasions to see him since the 1970's.
The recommended next big three to get signed:
1. Lionel Messi (Argentina / Barcelona) - may be the best player walking the earth right now - 6 trophies plus 2 personal awards in 2009 !
2. David Beckham (England / Los Angeles Galaxy) - may not be winning as much but for investment, his autograph on card is gold ($300.00 + if you can get it)
3. Didier Drogba (Ivory Coast / Chelsea) - if he wins anything with Ivory Coast they will be building statues of him.
Comments
The Maris, Klu, Allie Reynolds and most of the others were TTM's of mine from the early '80s. Glad I got them back then when I could!
Here is my Nolan Ryan. Thanks Mike!
T222's PSA 1 or better
I believe Jensen is the answer to the question of who played in the Rose Bowl and the World Series.

Top three U.S. prospects:
1. Stuart Holden - Houston Dynamo
2. Clint Dempsey - Fulham United
3. Tim Howard - Everton

I would say:
Landon Donovan
Kasey Keller
Claudio Reyna (though you could make an argument for Eric Wynalda or John Harkes)
For sheer recognizability (that's a word, right?), you could argue for Tony Meola.
Only an idiot would have a message board signature.

I was just listing up and coming players - but if I was going to list some Hall of Famers I would definitely agree with John Harkes and Eric Wynalda.
As for future / sure bet Hall of Famers - Kasey Keller - the best ever IMO.
Brad Friedel is still ripping it up at Aston Villa (truely one of the greatest)
Reyna - I wouldn't give two cents for ... (again IMO). Never won anything of importance ... so NO on him
Donovan starts his loan with Everton next month - he could be the greatest thing to kick a ball since Courtney Love -
