Nice eagles everyone.

1873 is the most common type two double eagle, though not as common in prooflike condition. The reverse has nicely reflective surfaces.

I don't think I have any. An actual live eagle on a coin? That'd be hard to photograph if it doesnt stay still long enough.

which is it ? Heritage had put the same reverse for both coins.. do they in fact have the same reverse ?

That quote is the same as "Post a U.S. coin". It is required by law that all U.S. coins have an Eagle on it someplace. Therefore I will just post an Eagle.

Ahh. Good point. But look very very closely and you will see a teeny tiny eagle on both...

Sorry, I forgot. Its a newer law and didn't come into effect till later. never mind
