2009 Lincoln Commemorative Dollars ... US Mint BACKORDER filled

I just got an email from the Mint stating that my 10 proof 2009 Lincoln Commemorative Dollars were shipped today!
All I can say is WOW.
I have had 10 emails from the Mint either canceling the order or backordering them.
I never dreamed that I'd actually get them but it shows they were shipped today!
Anyone else got their order filled?

My Dad ordered a few of these several months ago through the mail.

The Mint kept telling him he was backordered but that he would eventually get them.

I think complaints and discussion about the mint are wearing on most people. Additionally, it's likely not too many were in the same situation.



I also got a late shipment about 2 weeks ago.

I guess they are trying harder to please now.

make no mistake, my orders now ship promptly.

this "late order" was a hold over from a return for replacement. Despite being returned after they had sold out, it sat on backorder until filled. It could have easily been cancelled, but it wasn't. It was filled.


And lately, my other orders have been shipped in one or two weeks.
