<< <i>Reagan and Teddy Roosevelt are on my short list of presidents deserving coins soon. >>
As the two greatest presidents of the 20th century, I have to agree with you.

Ronald Reagan on a commemorative coin. Now there's a President! You might not agree with him on everything, but you knew where he stood on something. He drove the Russians bankrupt and orchestrated the downfall of the "Evil Empire." The thing about doing that was that he whole time he was doing it, he did it with a smile. He totally outclassed the Russians. The commemorative coin will go just nicely with the aircraft carrier, USS Ronald Reagan. Yeah, put me down for a set when they come out.
Let me state categorically, I despised Reagan when he was President. But I think in retrospect the highest accolades you can give are those well after the fact. When you reflect on his presidency you cannot help but realise that he truly loved the USA, freedom, and small government. I cannot say that for any of his successors in that office.

Anyway I've been reading about the logjam in the President Dollar Series about including Ronald Reagan in the series.
Im thinking maybe put Reagan on the Half Dollar. That might fly for a few years. Start it off with a Gold Coin right after ending Kennedy's run with a Gold Coin.
