Edit to say: I have no interest in either team other than two of my four sons went to school with Carson Palmer. He's a great kid and I like watching him play.

My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. We were stunned that another child of ours had been diagnosed. Please, if you don't have a favorite charity, consider giving to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation)
Oops is right. since this is a family board I must say Oh darn! We got are back sides kicked (big time). Next week Vikings and all I can say is they better be ready for there will be some Hungry Ravens coming to town. Speaking of food the wife has spaghetti waiting, guess Ill break out a little wine (for the pain) and get ready for NEXT WEEK! GO RAVENS!
Here locally they are known as: Cardiac Carson and the by-pass Bengals. I have been a fan since the begining (1968) and I can not remember the last time the Bengals had so many breaks go their way (Except for week 1)
I have to admit it does feel good and with the Bengals this feeling may be short lived so I have to enjoy it while I can.

Its sunday and you know what that means, ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL!!. Well this week the Ravens travel to Viking land to meet Mr Favre and company. Vikings are 5-0, of course the teams they have beating have a combined record of 7-17. SOOOOOO I think maybe its time for the Ravens to retire Mr Favre permanently. Lets get out the long boats, sail in, rampage and pillage, and burn this Viking city down. GO RAVENS!!!!!!!
Good Morning PSA, its Sunday and you know what that means ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL!!!! The Ravens are back at it today trying to get into the winning ways. Its Denver today, undefeated coming into are stadium all Rockie high. Well get ready for some Mcgahee and Rice (best served with a main dish of Air Flacco!) and a side dish of Suggs and Lewis with a topping of Reed. Its time to have one less undefeated team in the NFL Go RAVENS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just back from the game and WOW! Talk about wake up call, Denver is feeling the pain of the last 3 games. Next week its the Bengals, time to buckle down and get ready for the war! Go Ravens!
ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL!!!! This week the Ravens travel to Cincy to play those nasty Bengals. Its going to be a hard fought game with plenty of Ravens Deeeeefense and a lot of AIR Flacco and are new return man Mr. Webb. (95 yard TD against Denver). As Sonny said, we are1-3 point favorites on the road, so the betting boys are hedging are way. Should be a good game, lets go kick some Bengal tail !!! GO RAVENS!!!!!!!!
Well 24 hrs after the Mauling, still trying to mend all the slashes those claws left on my back and finding a few left over teeth attached here and their. Flacco fells like he got hit by a bus, and the rest of the boys are feeling a little rough. Give us a few days we will be back ready to tackle the 2nd half of this season. Need to go 6-2 at least, no more room for slow starts and missed field goals. This team has shown it can play with the best, now it has to come out and beat the best! Raven fans lets get ready to Rumble!!!! See you Monday night! Go RAVENS!!!!!! (Oh and congratulation Tampa Bay, you got one!)
Monday , Monday , so good to me , Monday Monday , it was all I hoped it would be. Oh Monday morning , Monday morning couldn't guarantee That Monday evening you would still be here with me........
If we lose this game , I'll ...... Oh never mind.
BRING IT ON !!!!!! ----- Sonny

ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL! Monday night style! Their where some good games yesterday, with those pesky Colts doing their thing, The Bengals making their statement known, and the Broncos crashing back to earth (Hard)! But tonight we find out if the Ravens are going to contend, or pretend to be real. Ravens have an 0-5 Monday night streak going and its time for a change! In the words of Mr. Sonny BRING IT ON! GO RAVENS!
It was ugly, nasty, sloppy, and down right pathetic at times, but it was a win and we will take it! Time to move forward to Sunday when those pesky Colts come to town. Will need the offense to start producing, can not let Payton spend much time on the field. More to come, Go RAVENS!!!
I loved it. A page right out of the Belichick/Parcells playbook: There was no way the Browns were ever going to win this game, so the Ravens took no chances, showed none of their playbook, used up none of their trick plays, and kept a sore Ngata on the bench to rest when he easily could've played.
The Ravens ran the most vanilla offense they had all year and still won fairly easily once the Browns started to tire. Really it was the perfect win except for what happened to Suggs and Nakamura. I guarantee they empty out the playbook on the Colts.
Thats a good point, if your going to play dead, the Browns where the perfect team to do it with. Now lets hope Suggs is not hurt to bad Fire up the Offense (OH and find a field go kicker Hauschka is gone!) Bring on those pesky colts GO RAVENS!!!!
Well mid week getting ready for the Colts, just signed new kicker Cundiff maybe he was one of the good things out of the Browns this year. 6-6 in field goals and with a leg for kick offs, well see. Oh and thanks Mr Quinn for the nice behind the back, into the lower leg block on Mr Suggs (maybe out 3-6weeks).You better hope you dont start against us next season, it might be a real rough game! I have a strange feeling about this game coming up and so do the odd makers , some have us as a 1 point fav. What do they know? (hopefully good things) GO RAVENS!!!!!!!
ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL! Those nasty (and I mean nasty!) Colts are coming into town today trying to lay down some smack on my poor Ravens, WELL its time someone smacked them back! Time to kick some pony's A-- and send them back to the glue factory! On Flacco on Mason on Rice and McClain its the Holiday season lets get nasty and mean! GO RAVENS!!!!!!
yeah thats bad luck for the steelers! this is prolly the toughest game they have the rest of the season! now only if the bengals can beat the teams there supposed to! ill be there tomorrow for the brownies game so im hoping for a butt kicking!

ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL!!! Once again the boys are on prime time! Enough talk about some striped cat that got loose in the yard, lets talk about football, Ravens football! The Steelers are in our back yard hurting some. and having Big Ben sitting on the sidelines. Its time to melt some steel and send it back in a crate to Pittsburgh. Lets get this show on the road, theirs beer to drink and Steelers to kick (This is what Sundays are all about!) GO RAVENS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately the Ravens were outplayed.
No win.
Next game may be better.--- Sonny
PS--- My fantasy baseball team did well enough to earn a little extra. Small consollation. I take it though.

The Browns played tough ( MNF ?) and kept it close for awhile ; with the Ravens help.
I think the Raven's D was the real winner here.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Can the Ravens be the ones to finally beat the Colts ?

Right now I think the final four would be Vikings, Saints, Colts, Steelers. Hate to say it, but they look the best right now.
I hope we prevail.--- Sonny
About 8 minutes to go.
Hoping for the win. Indy is TOUGH.
I also wanted to thank Kansas City and Oakland for their very fine efforts.
Pitsburgh next week. Could be a nice game. Its not likely that Detroit will be much help , but one can hope.

<< <i>im afraid you guys will have to fight with the steelers for second place..the only thing certain is that neither of you can beat the bengals! >>
I'm glad you guys are having a good year this year .
I also hope there is a reason , by the end of the year to pull this response back up.
Good luck , with the Lions.
