Here's the "showcase" set that I am building. Anybody else collect these as a theme?
Is the 1851-O 3 cent silver mintmark on the obverse or reverse? I guess the reverse, but it is too funky not to go in this set.

An interesting collection. Proofs and Uncs are nice to look at but well-circulated coins are more definitive of the times. That Five really saw some action. How many bars did it slide across, and will live to ripe old age thanks to coin collectors.
