My first Wheat cent!

I was searching a playground here in Greensboro and I found a dark colored coin, cleaned it up a bit and it looks like a 1940 or 1942. WOO HOO!

    Nice find... soak it in mineral or olive oil...should come out quite nice.... (long soak though). Cheers, RickO

    Where there are Wheaties, there is often silver!

    I find my ratio of Wheats to silvers on a fresh site often runs about 10 or 12 to 1.

    So dig another nine or ten Wheaties and the next thing you know, a silver Roosie or a Merc will pop out!
