Who says credit lines are being slashed?

Just got notification that I was registered in an upcoming Stack's auction.

In the past I always had a $1500 limit. Though I've never won anything in a Stack's auction, my bidding limit is suddenly $50,000.

Desperate for bidders?

    Mine aslo went up to $50,000. I haven't won anything in 5 years or so from them.

    Well if they sold IKE's I might consider Registering.
    I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

    Mine went up to $50k as well. Doesn't really matter for me since I don't really buy anything from them.

    Brothers, ol' curly has arrived! Stack's gave me 50K also. Mrs curly always tells me that I act like some kind of big shot. Maybe she'll see me under a different light when she sees this credit limit. I don't act like one....I are one. image

    ....but regarding credit cards, those ba$tards decided to up my interest rate even though I've been with them for years, always pay off my balance, and I'm just a generally responsible human. Gee, thanks CapitalOne. Really make me feel special. All of this, of course, is in front of the Credit Reform Act stuff that still has a few months before it takes effect........so everybody's tryin' to get as much money as possible and put themselves in the best position to take advantage of customers before it's too late. Rather ironic actually, when considering the intent of the new legislation.

    Went to the website after seeing this thread - what a strange search function for current auctions! They need to steal a view ideas from HA.
