    Two diving stops to make up for it.

    I think Pujols will get one more AB and then Ryan Howard will take his place.

    SWARTZ

    You got your man to the plate

    Too bad he did NOT come thru ... with THE GAME ON THE LINE! (and YES, I was rooting for him so the METS get Home Field Advantage in the World Series!)

    No Chit. Swings at pitch across the ankles on 3-2 count, runners stranded at second and third. Another day at the office for Kong -- er I mean Howard. image

    As a Dodger fan I was pretty pleased with Pujols plays in the field last night as he made two diving stops that saved my pitcher from a big inning.

    Has anyone seen Howard's nose? No wonder he can't see the ball.

    It doesn't look so good for Championships either... AL's on top 8 - 5 in the last 13 seasons.

    Not quite.

    AL = 5, NL = 4

    2000 = AL (Yanks over Mets)
    2001 = NL (D-Backs over Yanks)
    2002 = AL ( image )
    2003 = NL (Marlins over the Yanks)
    2004 = AL (Red Sox over the Cards)
    2005 = AL (White Sox over the Astros)
    2006 = NL (Cards over the Tigers)
    2007 = AL (Red Sox over the Rockies)
    2008 = NL (Phillies over the Rays)

    If you only go back 3 years, then the NL has the advantage, 2 to 1.
