    I can't see the compass point. Where is it? The top of the eagle's shield? Or on the other side, hidden in Liberty's lap somewhere?

    When I saw lathmach posted, I was gonna change my grade guess to whatever he said, but I see he chose not to address that. image

    Not bad for an AU-55. I thought that the seller's 1875 was a better deal though.image The spread for the '54 W/A from AU - Unc. is steep enough that I'd rather be paying nearly unc. money for details foremost and color secondarily, IMHO.

    I didn't see the 1875.But he does have some nice early lincolns.

    Very nice looking 54 with good eye appeal. I would say the grade of 58.

    The 75 was a great deal and had a nice look to it as well.
    If I say something in the woods, and my wife isn't around. Am I still wrong?

    Dang it. You wanted that a little bit more than I did. My max bid was passed up at $300. If I had more money I would have won that one!

    I had seen that.Didn't he state it was on the holder?Not aware
    of any Pinocchio variety?..or your joking.
