It's odd how the man who worked his life to abolish slavery would have you enslaved.

I hear ya. I was able to complete the Basic Set with the exception of the SVDB from circulation. One coin kept me from the feat, but it was a fun ride too.

Does this mean I can add mozeppa as a pedigree to the five I stole from you?image

    Congratulations! What an achievement!

Mozeppa is so modest he considers the 1990 No S proof (the rarest Lincoln cent proof) as part of "all the 'other proofs'"! BTW, thanks!

Let just add that MOZEPPA is not only great person, but what he just stated..a Heck of a Lincoln Collector. So many collections like his exist and are not a part of the registry and are BETTER than the registry will ever be.

    Uh-oh.

    Do I detect transitional blues?

I'm very familiar with the sensation, having seldom held onto a collection for more than three or four years. (My holey stuff is running to nine years now, making a new record for me.)

I can only imagine what somebody who's spent a lot longer time in a series must feel like when Transition Day comes.

New beginnings are a little scary but they can also be fun.
