Repetition of ignorance is ignorance raised to the power two.
<< <i>It's called "Doing a transfer over the weekend". >>
Nope! Thats standard operating procedure for PayPal! It doesn't matter if its on a Saturday or a Monday. 5 days.
And yes I find it VERY Irritating that I can pay via Paypal and the funds are withdrawn the next day but to add to the account or withdraw from the account takes 5 days. Makes no sense but then what can you do other than getting involved in some type of class action?

Not true, the last transfer I did was on July 1st at 2:00PM. It posted to my account the morning of July 3rd. Of course, while this may vary from bank to bank I've never had any transfer take longer than three days. In the case of the OP, his transfer makes perfect sense at 5 days because of a weekend in the middle.

Typical like a large bank. Large checks deposited take 5 business days (5k+) if from out of state. Now if you write that check and its bad they will bounce it same day. They "float" a lot of money at any one time. Like having a constant "pool" of money to play with. Before the invent of computerized banking this had logic. Today it has NONE.
