COINage article on eBay Fakes

I, along with Barry Stuppler and several other collectors and dealers, were quoted in an excellent three-page article
on Ebay fakes on page 46 of the July 2009 issue of COINage. In addition, COINage used six of my photos, including two used on the
cover, of unmarked fakes offered on eBay from Chinese sources.

I certainly hope this article will increase pressure on eBay to ban sales from known counterfeiters, and stop placing penalties and bans
on people who are trying to warn others about fakes.

Frank, wow! that is a great step in the right direction and congrats on your contribution to the article.

Honestly though, if you can get your article to your Congressman and if he makes only one statement citing the Hobby Protection Act and EBay's ignoring of it that would be awesome.

I've talked about this before but it baffles me as to why so many people can post hundreds of threads in dozen's of forums but they won't send one letter to their Congressman about this.

Anyways, if anyone else wants to contact their Congressman, here's how:

BTW: apathy ain't it folks, your Congressman has a staff and they read all emails, if enough voters write to them about a particular issue, the staff creates a memo and gives it to the Congressman. They just need to actually hear from you.
