Do you think a coin like this need some what of a description?

  • Yeah, it's part of the Eliasberg collection (a big time collector who died in 1976) the coin is listed in the PCGS price guide for $175,000 in MS65 condition (which of course is a ridicules price) but, MS65 is a tough grade.

Honestly though, in today's market, you could buy a quite a few houses in Detroit for that price! (that's actually kind of a sad commentary on the markets overall huh?)

I think someone at Heritage needs to get to work and start typing. Funny, how even the pop reports and price guide listings are missing as well.

I suspect anyone who has the money to buy that coin already knows it.

Do you really think that having a lot of money automatically makes a person knowledgeable about the coins he or she collects?

If I were the current owner of that coin, I sure would not want Heritage to make that assumption.
