Personally, I won't block you and think that that many negs/nuetrals is a drop of water in the bath tub. Insignificant with the amount of business you do. Not defending the OP directly as he did come off pretty strong and the explanation was a bit lame.
Sounds like to me that the OP just got pi$$ed due to the nuetral. Hey, it happens. I haven't had one yet or a neg yet so can't say how I'll feel, but I don't think I'll tell all the forum members my problems.

I certainly won't criticize you for your posting capabilities but providing all the necessary information is an absolute must if you want to get support from the forums. I save each thread regarding "blocking" ebay folks so I at least no why I've blocked them.
BTW, I've purchased from you in the past and have no problem with your listings. I even have you in my favorite sellers.
My best advice is to not take your eBay ire out on the forum members that prod you for more information. We will support you but you have to have a valid case to support. The only way for us to determine this is by the facts that YOU present couple with our own investigations.
Yes it sucks that a buyer negs you but 9 out of 10 times this stuff can be worked out and a reasonable seller would make every effort to communicate with his/her buyers before coming to the forums for support.
It does not appear that this is what transpired with this particular thread.

For me, at least, it isn't the "few negs and all the positives"....I take things on a case by case basis, so a few negs isn't a deal killer. Attitude is though, and you are displaying a lot of it in lashing out at folks, tonight.
That doesn't make for a seller I want to deal with, sorry.
As for "updating" your auctions for a return policy.....how long have you left it like it is? Why changing it so late? Don't get me wrong, I applaud you for changing/updating it so it is better for you and your bidders, just wondering why you left it so empty for so long.....
this thread is one example of why I come around here less than I used to when I first started off
Don't get me wrong, I still enjoy it, but unfortunately right now we have more of this crap than actual coins. Here's hoping the balance tilts in the other direction soon!

the lack of info and the pi$$ed-offed-ness got this thread started on the wrong foot before enough info was out there about your feedback. Now 19Lyds supports your feedback.
Sounds like it might be your run of the mill whiner customer... eh. If the person doesn't want a return/exchange but just complains... what good is that, either?

These forums need to isolate ALL ebay threads to their own forum... my opinion and I'm sticking to it...

Why they allow these whine threads and then let folks get in a tizzy over ebay crap is beyond me... yet folks like Mark Feld get banned and LeeJ is made to feel not welcome... It says "US Coin Forum"... yet I seriously wonder sometimes...
Reminder to self... never open another thread about ebay on the US Coin Forum...

God is great, beer is good, and people are crazy!!
Let's see... the OP has over 15,000 ebay transactions with a 98% positive... got 3 neutrals from the buyer he wants everyone to block... on neutral from another buyer and three negatives... one of the negatives is about a broken box damaged in shipping... another is a bidder who claims he bid by mistake and the OP would not let him out. Seller has >98% positive feedback on over 15,000 transactions, so he must be doing something right. The buyer also has a good feedback rating, so again, he can't be all that bad.
First, with respect to the neutreals, its unfortunate, but when you sell as much as the OP does you are going to end up dealing with someone with unrealistic expectations. I checked the buyer's (bruno1992) feedback left for others. For the most part, he's not very verbose... typical feedback is "thanks". He's only left a few neutrals and one or two negatives from what I saw. Doesn't exactly strike me as unreasonable.
In re the one neg the OP received re the damaged box, that is unfortunate and I can understand if the OP was bothered by that. The neg from the bidder who wanted out? Well, my experience is that when someone contacted me and claimed a mistake and wanted out, I let them out. Its not worth the negative that I was sure I would have gotten had I been stubborn. The way I see it, the OP should have expected it for making the guy go through with the auction. Buyers can trash a seller's reputation very easily and under the new feedback rules, sellers are powerless to smack these arrogant buyers. It just wasn't worth it to do it and OP should have let that guy walk.
I actually feel for the OP here. I understand his frustration. I also understand the frustration that he feels from the responses he got on this thread. (Been there myself.) Did he overreact with the BLOCK THIS BUYER! thread? Maybe. Have some of the responses on this thread been a little to much? Yup.
I've quit blocking people on the recommendations of others. I've figured out that I can complete successful transactions with buyers other people have trouble with. Some of the old blocked bidders contact me occasionally, I unblock them, they buy. Simple as that. --Jerry
