PCGS Graded MS62 coin was not washed out still had good luster
I have been looking for a 1908 No Motto Gold Indian for over a year now at a good price. I finally grabbed on I found on Teletrade.
I want to get it into a PCGS holder

Why? There isn't really any difference in price between a PCGS and NGC MS61 for a coin like this.

Nice coin, BTW.

Ditto
The coin kind of has that "white gold" look to it that comes from being dipped.
For caparison purposes here is a 1907 eagle I purchased years ago in an NGC MS-61. I think that this coin is under graded, and that is not unusual for this type. I think some graders under rate these coins because the strike is quite often soft in the center, especially the obverse.

Bill's coin is a steal in a 61 holder. The first coin in the thread seems to have been dipped from what I can tell in the picture.
