On this forum....is a rating of 1 really good and a rating of 10 really lousy?

Maybe this has been answered here before--but I want to give someone here an exemplary rating on his profile. Do I give him a 1, or a 10?

Only those with a rating of 2 or less.

Good point. At least that person is creating interest, whether positive or negative.

decided that #5, is a really good number."
By the way, you're DOWN to 5.84 after I rated you. Mean reversion I think it's called.
Hoard the keys.
I can see Type2's in his profile, but it ain't in mine I can see... and Type 2's just went up, by the way I hope!

You can see ones rating by clicking on the glasses icon located at the top right of ones post or you can select the who's online selection from the drop down menu at the top right of the forum screen. One must also have rating enabled on their profile to receive ratings otherwise it will not be present when viewing their profile.

I've made enough people angry and pleased a few others. My opinions on high (over priced) priced modern coins set some people in a tizzy. That's too bad, but it's no going to make me shut up. I'm not here to win popularity contests. I'd like edcuate and warn some people who care to listen.
Why else would a collector and retired dealer both to post messages?
1 is wonderful
it's those middle numbers you wanna avoid.
