Will the CA budget crisis result in additional National Park Quarters?

Sounds like the Feds may take back some of the State Parks ,that were formerly Federal property, if the state closes them down.

If this happens would these then become National Parks resulting in additional quarters being issued?

If so how much will this cost modern collectors?

I believe it is one national park per state, but I could be wrong.

On second thought, when China takes over California by calling in it's IOU's, it very well could split the state up into several smaller states, each needing it's own national park/monument quarter. The question then would become, will they be denominated in quarter dollars or quarter yuans?

Perhaps China will be more fiscally responsible. That state runs its finances like a teenager who stole his father’s credit card and has run it WAY over the MAX. The trouble is no one will take the card away from the teenager or revoke his charging privileges.
