Minor newps and minor dilemma

A few weeks back I bought a stack of 1-oz bars from Southeast Refining:

And just a few days ago I asked for advice on how to store them. Cars & Cladiator suggested the "bar vault", and I got one cheeep on eBay last night.

These boxes hold 20 bars. I bought all my dealer had of those Southeast bars, but that was only 15. Stopped by the brick & mortar again today and bought 5 other bars to at least get a full box.

Here's the dilemma--and I believe we addressed this recently. Now that I have these 5 Silvertowne bars, I don't really want to take them out of their original packaging. And I understand they won't fit in the vaults with the packaging on.

Would you cut the bars out and not worry about it, or would you leave these in their original packaging and hunt for 5 more (possibly matching) Southeast bars to finish out the box of 20?

Incidentally, I got these for $1 over spot/melt/fix. image

rip em out. They don't have like extra collectors value or anything.

If they were pamp or credit suisse then don't do that but these are silvertowne image

Keep them as is and search for five more. I mean you can always take them out of the packaging eventually.

I'd leave 'em be, it's not like you aren't going to be buying any more silver.....image

I Agree, Keep em sealed. They aren't worth anymore sealed, I just like my bars sealed and would be more apt to purchase them sealed rather than not sealed. I like buying 1 oz bars when they are still in the 10 bar sheets. Easy to stack those image
