Prices seem to soften a little bit for football in June, especially modern. The timing is perfect because training camp open at the end of next month.

Right now I think Adrian Peterson auto rookies are a bargain. You can get some very nice limited auto rc, some with jersey, for $100-$175. A very fair price considering how much other unproven (McFadden) or old (LT) rookie autos go for.

I just got a few and will post once they arrive.

Yeah, it's cool buying cards in the off season for different sports. I'm kind of doing that with NBA cards. I am buying 2003-04 unopened boxes because of LeBron James rookies. I am just putting them away and not opening them. My kids will have them some day.
