Good Morning,
Screw the 401k, every once in awhile you get one like this. Three weeks back I am killing the last few minutes at work before leaving work, cruisin' E-bay, come across an auction for 14 each 1950 Lever Brothers Aluminum Jets & Rockets cards with 57 minutes left. Never heard or seen them before, no bids, starts at $9.99. Figure what the he$$, why not, throw a bid of $10.51 and head home. Get home find out I won for $9.99 plus $4 shipping, so pay, get the cards and find them in one of my price guides, see they are priced at about $12.00 in EX each for the set of 30. Not bad. These are real low grade, decide I'll throw them on the Bay for $4.99 each, if I sell three I made my money back.
Well this is the outcome; If somebody could do the Link thing I would be ever grateful:

Here is the auction number (110394014084), I was wrong about shipping only paid $1.73!! Don't know if it was listed wrong, maybe, but then don't know enough about the cards. maybe the way it was searched, sometimes figuring out all the key words and combos can be complicated.

One of the few times rare is in the title, is appropriate and ends for far too less.
