So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts

Rickwood Field in Birmingham, Al. It will be 100 years old next year. It was the home of the Birmingham Black Barons, and many AA minor league teams. A local group maintains it, and the Barons play there once a year. Many of the local schools use it, and baseball camps are held there.

I collect Vintage Cards, Commemorative Sets, and way too many vintage and modern player collections in Baseball (180 players), Football (175 players), and Basketball (87 players). Also have a Dallas Cowboy team collection.

I have been to a lot of stadiums around the country and in my opinion, for overall experience, the choices are (in no particular order): Wrigley, Fenway, Yankee and Camden. I like Dodger Stadium because I grew up in LA but, frankly speaking, it is not close to the top 10. I have not been to Petco or Safeco so can't comment on them but I have heard good things. I have been to a lot of mediocre stadiums, which still make for a nice way to spend an evening, but the first four I mentioned are far superior in my opinion. Oh ya, that was old Yankee stadium I went to. I have no clue on the new one.

    My two cents...

In the Majors, it's PNC Park in Pittsburgh.

In the Minors, it's AutoZone Park in Memphis (home of the Memphis Redbirds - AAA team for the St. Louis Cardinals).
