Whats the prettiest "early" Jordan?

I have long thought that as far as pure looks, THIS Jordan was far and away the best. What do you guys think?

I had to go with the RC. It's such a nice action shot.

88-89 is my least favorite. I don't know that the hell is even going on in that picture? There's an arm, a tongue, another dude....I don't like it. Not a fan of the design either. Oh well.

Now I like his OLY Star Co. card from 84. And Gatorade Slam Dunk.

It's hard to pick one. I like all of his '80s Fleer cards and his '84 and '85 Star cards. But yeah, his '89 Fleer is one of the best action shots of his from that era. The red and white design is striking too.

I really love the design of the 1988 Fleer. I do not like the photo on the card, though. Like someone said, you can't tell what's going on. As far as the photo, I love the 1986 Fleer and 1986 Fleer sticker. On that sticker card with him going baseline, I can just imagine some schmo getting dunked on and knocked on his butt. (Note: It had to be a schmo because the Nets didn't have a decent player.)

I can't figure out what is going on with the 1989 Fleer. I love the action shot, but what is the black shadow over half the photo?

Interesting. I've never noticed that in the 20 years since its issue.

One interesting thing about that photo is that the same photo was used for the 1990 Skybox. Yet, on the Skybox, there is no shadow.

Ahhhh 1990 Skybox. One of my fondest collecting memories is when my friend and I came across a $50 bill on the floor at a drug store on Spring Break and bought out a box of Skybox Series II with it. We had a great rip that afternoon. I landed three Derrick Coleman RC's and the coveted David Robinson 2nd year. Several Jordans too.

Remember Karl Malone's pic on the back of the card in cowboy garb?

nice card but not a real photo shoot. the skyline is taken from either the lake or near the lake shore. dont think there are any courts in that location to take the pic.

but these always make me laugh. kinda like see the fake chicago scenes from ER. i work across the street from the hospital that it was suppose to be shot at and it looks nothing like what i have seen almost every day for the last 10 years.

I had to go with the majority.

The card just "looks" real pretty, to me.

He is shooting a jumper in Kevin Willis's face. Willis is fouling him so hard his hand is tangled in his sweat band. I love it. One of my favorites.

This sticker was weaseled away from me by a shady dealer nearly 20 years ago who pretended like he didn't know what it was. I pulled the sticker myself along with a Kareem Abdul Jabbar around 1985/86. They were distributed in vending type machines. It still bugs me to this day.

I'm hoping someone with VCP can verify the price for us but I know it will sell for far more than a PSA 9 Fleer RC. I might be a little off, but I think I recall a PSA 7 selling in the $1K range a couple years ago.

I think the 84 Star is his best card. I'm shocked that there hasn't been a ton of fan fare over star cards now that Beckett will grade them.. i remember this being worth twice as much as the 86 fleer card back in the day..
