An Excellent morning of md'ing

I hit two parks, one was a foot under water and produced a silver thingy. The other produced a 1999 penny.

BUT

afterwards I stopped at the store for some milk and bought a 10 dollar scratch off ticket....and won 500 bucks!!!!!

    Sweet, Most I've ever won on those is $100 & $50 although I've won that much quite a few times probably didn't make up for as much as I've spent on them.

    anytime i think of people winning the lottery with scratch tickets i think
    of the thousands and thousands of dollars of losers.

    a 10 dollar ticket just makes me gag. stupid state sanctioned gambling.

    yeah there are a lot of losers and I sure have lost enough money for the most part I think the 20 dollar and 10 dollar tickets are not worth it, the odds of
    winning big on the 2 and 5 dollar tickets are just about the same, the only diff comes at the grand prize level and I know I will never hit that. Funny thing is
    I went to the counter wanting to buy 10 quick picks for the power ball which was at 209 million, but instead I said scratch off tix, cause that is what I usually
    buy.
