What are "retail" prices for cards in the folllowing conditions?

Let's say 1950's cards, what should be the retail range (as a percentage of high Beckett, for example) for cards in:

EX-MT condition

EX condition

VG-EX condition

VG condition

Worse than VG condition
Ron Burgundy

Buying Vintage, all sports.
Buying Woody Hayes, Les Horvath, Vic Janowicz, and Jesse Owens autographed items

I am not sure if this is what you are looking for, but these are the numbers from Beckett Price Guide on the first page before their pricing begins, and of course there are also other columns in this chart for other time periods, but here is the one that would apply to 50's:

    1948-1959:

    MT 300%+
    NM-MT: 150-250%
    NM: 100%
    EXMT: 50-75%
    EX: 30-50%
    VG: 15-30%
    P/F/G: 5-15%

Ron it depends. Hi numbers? Or scarce series cards get more. Look at the SMR that will at least show you

what series are more desirable. Some of those sets also have SP's.

    Steve

    Good for you.
  • Retail can be far different than market value

Saw this question before I went to the store today and checked out Beckett. Didn't even have anything pre-2001 listed in the one I flipped through

For Vg-Ex range, 15 to 30% of the lowest value in SMR is a good starting point. Pretty big range, but there are a lot of variables

What does the rest of the chart say? Apparently it's now quite different than when I used to read Becketts.
