    With all the 75 mini and 80s rips going on, I am in need of upgrading a few cards for sets. If you have the following, I'd be interested.

    1983 Topps- 792

    1985 Fleer- 641 649

    I have always liked the 86 Donruss of Rose breaking the record.

    My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. We were stunned that another child of ours had been diagnosed. Please, if you don't have a favorite charity, consider giving to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation)

  • Just busted the fleer run. Came up big on the 84 with both Mattingly and Ryan (also got Juan Samuel, which was a big pull back in the day). Other than that, not much else. 1981s were waaaaaay off centre.

    Cool, I got Mattingly & Ryan in my 84 Donruss and you did the same in your Fleer.

    Okay I just did the hard math (it wasn't really that hard). There are 18 of 36 slots yet to report in for the baseball and 20 of 36 slots for the football. Come on people report in. Where are the Ripken, Marino, Elway, and Montana rookies???
  • One of my football runs had nothing. I didn't open the second one. The baseball had a few nice HOF'ers but no rookies.

    My best cards were;

    1981 Topps - Nolan Ryan O/C but still nice.
    1983 Fleer - a beautiful Ripken Jr.
    1984 Topps - Strawberry rookie
    1985 Fleer - Mattingly
    1986 Donruss - Snyder rookie
    1989 Score - Sheffield rookie

    It was fun to rip those packs. It was worth every cent.
