I've got a question on a strange 5 oz. Silver bar

A friend of mine who owns a coin shop pulled out a starnge looking Silver bar a couple days ago when I was at his shop and I was wondering if anyone here can tell me what it's worth.
It's a 5 oz. bar with an image of a coin with Queen Victoria stamped into it, it also has Hong Kong/Shanghai specie Silver bar 999.9 stamped into it and a small round symbol in the corner with a couple letters in it, I think the letters were V/K or possibly V/Q. The bar in question appears quite old as it had a small amount of wear and old light toning.
He indicated that he had purchased the bar back in 1980 and forgot about it so he figured he'd payed over $200 for it, any help would be greatly appreciated as I might consider purchasing it as I collect bars of all shapes and sizes and have never seen one like it.

I know exactly the bar you are talking about. I have seen 2-3 on ebay they sell for about 150-200 bucks.
