here we go again. the mad rush to get some junk to sell to some people
who failed to get the junk. in a year no one will want the junk.

so typical of a hobby area that is on its last legs and due for a large fall.

Well, after 45mins, I give up. I only wanted two sets- one to keep and one to hopefully trade for a Cabin set. I had planned on then buying the next two sets from the Mint but there's no way I'm going to put up with this BS all over again and again. No way I'm going to spend bookoo bucks for them on eBay either. Oh well.

It appears the Mint has figured out a way to make a profit on cents as they cost about that much to make. This is all very interesting. I wonder what will happen over the next week or two.

How much do rolls of the 1st lincolns released still go for?

for a major profit might not last! oh noes!

thanks everyone for making me laugh at this nonsense. great thread.

actually, I posted the first as a pure joke.

the second has a grain of truth, but it was mostly humor as I think most people know my feelings on having backorders or day 1 for anything.

it's not the flipping, which I sometimes do and mostly don't, it's the principle. do I complain about PCGS' turn around times or anything else? they do a decent job and care about customr service. PBGS is still learning.

for everyone one person buying these to collect there are 19 who just wish to flip
these to the biggest fool they can find on ebay.

lets be honest here. collecting is not what is going on image

me? i am not wasting my time ordering these things. i have no interest in them
and learned long ago to stay away from gimmicks revolving around hobbies.
they always end up the same way. worthless junk no one wants - except for a few
collectors who just want a roll or a single few examples.

good luck finding enough fools to buy all these!

I personally do not see anything wrong with flipping although I have only done it a few times, aside from that it is about supply and demand and there must be more then a few collecting these or there would be no retail demand. I just don't understand demeaning another persons enjoyment, and obviously alot of people get enjoyment or the demand would not be so great. Eitherway have a great day, life is to short to be so negative.

disrespectful for stating the truth? well then. you sir are in the minority.

but for fun.. just how many rolls did you buy? a collector needs at least 3-4
rolls right? lol. perhaps a bit of speculation on your part as you might wish
to sell some into the secondary market?

    right....

keep an eye out for the threads discussing the beauty of the design, the high quality
of the coins, and the ardent joy of owning 200-400 pieces of this modern marvel!!!

nah. you will see how threads about how many were sold, what they are selling
