Please help estimating worth of HOF ball

Hey guys, I haven't posted here in a while, but I could use a favor. I've been looking at selling a few things, and I honestly have no clue what this is worth. Estimates would be greatly appreciated.

There are 22 sigs (all HOF'ers).

The pics are crummy, but the ball is clean (no yellowing) and the sigs are crisp. It's a Bobby Brown ball with GAI authentication.

It is authenicated (see the GAI sticker?)......Probably worth $250-$300 (no real high demand names)

I agree with Steve, Its a nice ball, If it was mine, I would send it to PSA or JSA and have it reauthenticated.

I'm not crazy bout them either Steve. But in this case, I'm not sure it's worth it (if I do sell it).

may not be worth the expense to have it authenticated. with GAI's rep these days it may be best to remove the GAI sticker if you are selling it. $200-250 range seems about right.

200.00 seems cheap for that.

Is it because it was signed after they played?

Or is it simply because their is no rhyme or reason for that ball?

What I mean is if it was 300 game winners only or 400 Home runs or better etc?

my estimated value could be way off (200-250). I was estimating based on the players on the ball. all big names and HOF but none are tough autos. I think it's more of a supply vs. demand. again...it could be worth more than my estimate. the sharpie auto's have held up very well over the years but having a sharpie pen on the ball could have an affect on price. a nice ball regardless of what it may bring price wise.

I'm wondering if holding on to this ball for another 5-10 years or so might be a good idea based on the ages of the living members that have signed it.

A close friend of mine sold a very similar ball a couple years ago. The only differences were that the ball had a few different HOFers (no big names like Mantle or DiMaggio), and most of the signers were deceased.

I'm almost positive that the ball was authenticated by JSA/Spence.

He sold it for close to $2,000.

While I'm not saying that your ball is worth $2,000, I am wondering if it might be worth waiting a bit longer before selling based on the ages of some of your HOFers ages listed below.

I dunno if the ball will increase in value... these guys have all signed SOO much. Just like '88 topps.... 10 more years wont help. I could be wrong though.

I would think it could fetch around $500 but if you're in no rush to sell, I would hold onto it only if you got the names in person. I say that only because I'm biased with my HOF bat.. However, if you don't have a emotional attachment, get the autos authenticated by PSA and put it on eBay.

I was thinking 200.00 was cheap for it simply because I'd pay that for it.

If I'd pay something for an item I'm sure someone else would pay more.

400 -500 seems more realistic, but then again I could be way off.

You could list it on ebay BIN for say a dime, along with a best offer and see what happens - might be worth a shot for just a few bucks in listing fees - don't forget you can list for 30 days now, and it rolls over automatically if ya want. I think the "right buyer" might pay a lot for that ball.

$15 each signature is good to start.

IMO... No need to get (re)authenticated since most scammers will not mess with multi sig balls of fairly common recently deceased HOFers.

only negative is its tough to fit into an signed ball collection, most collectors like team balls or SS balls.

I haven't followed cards in a few years. Has everything fallen across the board (modern, vintage, memorabilia, etc) due to the economy?

Brian no, not really. The over all market is softer due to the economy but
certain items still sell well.
