What is this mint mark?

I got this 1943 Washington quarter in a roll from Wells Fargo. I can't read the mintmark at all with the naked eye, at 5x with my loupe it is still a blob, at 10x with my microscope it looks like an "S" but at 60x it looks like a blob. Any help would be appreciated. I know it's not much but it's nice to me since I paid face value.

Worry is the interest you pay on a debt you may not owe.

I got this in a roll of quarters I bought for face. I occasionally buy rolls from banks looking for stuff to keep. In my opinion, its a 1943 quarter that is beat up but still worth more than $0.25 at melt, or am I wrong?
