Help with a PCGS 2009 1/10 Maple First Strike Price

Can someone please give me a rough estimate (bid/ask or wholesale/retail) on "'09 1/10 $5 Canadian Maple Leaf gold PCGS, brilliant uncirculated, first strike"? I have been offered some in a trade. Many thanks for any insights.

I would guess a bit above melt as it is FS yet no grade??

Maples historically hold little premium, absent maybe the 2004 One Ouncer Anniversary, the .99999 and a few others.

melt, plus grading fees is what i would pay. no more.
basically look up what you would pay online at a bullion store and
go with that. the grading of such a piece is silly. it adds no value
except what it cost to do it.

Gainsville is retailing ungraded 1/10 ounce gold maples at $105.74 with a May 8th ship date. Having them in a holder at Brilliant Uncirculated FS, isn't worth much premium. The more coins offered to the dealer, and the higher the volume the dealer moves, the tighter the spread is likely to be.
