(Priest) BLASPHEMY he said it again, did you hear him?
  • PM's between my swap partner and I seem to have hit a snag.

I guess I will swap with myself on this one.

I'd be willing to take on another partner if morganhunters swap has fallen through if he is interested, Unless he wants morgans because gary has pretty much cleaned me out the last couple of months.

I don't have a partner so, I'll swap with you MH2 and advalorem.

How can you guys make such a simple task so difficult? Geeez! image

Well the wedding went off without a hitch! Even though I had to sell the larger part of my collection to pay for it, we didnt have to take out a loan with I see as more important. Now to try and get my life back to normal.
The package was shipped on Friday, however I did not get delivery confirmation. I've talked this over with my swap partner already and we agree that for this swap its not a huge deal but best to let everyone here know whats going on.

LonelyP's package has just arrived, I'm blown away by this swap/wedding gift. To me its by far my favorite wedding gift. A 1944 pcgs 65 Walker and a 1986 proof set, mine and my wifes birth year.
  • WOW,

image I thought it would be a nice wedding gift. I didn't think it would be a favorite one.

Got TorinoCobras package today a nice PCGS MS64 Norfolk commemorative. As always gary was a pleasure to swap with.

  • Hi Group,

My swap package came in today. I gotta tell you. This NEWBIE swapper sent me a 1934-D Walker I needed for my album. I would say AU easy. 3 BU walkers, 41, 42, 43. AND 7, count them 7, Mercs. without a lupe, the bands are all nice. ? FSBs, could be some.

I sent 1, just 1, PCGS MS65 Walker, I got from Gary's tag Listed value $200. BUT this was ment to be a wedding present. And 1, just 1, 1986 "birthyear" proof set.

I'm so WOWed by this package, I feel ashamed. This was supposed to be a WEDDING PRESENT for him.

I did say in our talks, I would send back coins if he sent what he discribed, AND HE DID.

But now that I've seen them I don't want to. image

A low value swap, but a very smooth and pleasant one it was.

Dont worry Paul we'll have to do another swap some day. The price on the mercs was well under $20 via dealer half price bucket, same as with the walkers(just have to have a good eye for the best buys in there). I didnt really call those BU, I know one had potential but the other two were in my AU rolls.

    Enjoy filling that walker book
  • Nice exchange with Claychaser. The new coins are resting comfortably in my Dansco album.
