I personally have not bought but have heard from others who have and they say no problems.

  • I have bought and sold thru them for 3-4 years, never a problem.

Thier nucleo-exchange only has a 1% fee and they escrow the transaction.

    Go for it.

    I agree.

Small buyers can have them hold purchases to save on shipping and then have all your purchases sent at the same time.

I have had no problems with bulliondirect. Shipping is slow just FYI. Their market gets funky sometimes so look before you buy. One time last summer I noticed that on the nucleo exchange the ask for 1/2 oz AGE was less than half the price of a 1 oz AGE, so if you're looking to buy so many ounces of AU make sure you do it the cheapest way for that day. One time I got a PCGS MS69 slabbed coin instead of a raw coin which was sort of odd, but I have no complaint about that image.

They take personal checks which is nice. If you pay with credit card they tack on a surcharge which makes sense.

I was looking at these guys tonight for this vary reason- small buyer looking to accumulate over time to save on shipping. Any new opinions about BullionDirect.com now that it's been a year later? Did you end up using them, SE92?

No problems at all. I wait until I have a 100 ounces or so before I have them ship.
