Anybody recognize this type cross? It has 4 radiates that I don't remember seeing on other crosses.
Maybe to languages on it too?

Thanks,
Big Dave

Wow.. that is certainly unusual... I would ask around the Asian community.... the writing looks Asian. Cheers, RickO
  • Without giving an entire lecture on the subject, suffice to say that the "cross" itself is a Pagen symbol that goes back prior to Christianity. There are literally thousands of different styles of crosses.

The one your friend found is representative of an eight point Maltese cross. But, there are hundreds of different Maltese crosses too. Typically this type cross symbolizes a "brotherhood" rather than like a Latin cross that would symbolize martyrdom.

So, IMHO, it probably is gang members' jewelry piece because of the Maltese style of cross. Historically the Maltese cross has been utilized by numerous associations that consider themselves a - here it is again, "brotherhood".

As far as the writing goes, it may be something cool looking the jewelry artist thought up. Sort of like the Lord of the Rings ring inscription.
