Grade the 1965 SMS Kennedy...

Took a visit to the local B&M today. Nothing real exciting so I picked up a 1965 SMS Kennedy for $10 as a courtesy purchase. I think that the coin has eye-appeal.
What would you grade it by the pics and is $10 about right for this coin?

lofty grades, you have to have accented hair.

<< <i>Hairlines and what appears to be white haze on the reverse might pull this coin down to as low as PCGS MS65. One other thing, as on any JFK if you are to get the
lofty grades, you have to have accented hair.

Please elaborate?
Since the only Accented Hair Kennedy I am aware of or that has been documented is the 1964 Proof coin.
The name is LEE!

I have a complete set of accented hair Kennedy Halves!

So do I. It took patients on that set.
Interesting but no big deal and absolutely worth $10 for the education.
How do you know that it is an SMS coin and not a regular business strike? I personally
have no clue other than it appears to be very sharply struck and has die polish lines.
Absolutely no haze, artifact of the photographic lighting.

Its easy to tell when you get a fresh contrasted cameo from 1965-1967 considering they didnt have proof sets in those years.
Try it!
