I would guesstimate I have a monthly coin budget of around $600 or so. Your poll is somewhat misleading as if I translated that into a % of my GROSS income, the number would be substantially smaller than if I translated it into % of my TAKE HOME pay.
My salary (from my day job) doesn't include the extra money I get from selling coins that I don't want any more (or that I ripped in the first place...). So my "% of yearly salary" number is scary-big. But none of that money comes from my yearly salary -- my coin purchases are totally funded by my coin sales...

I guess they don't pay taxes either
Those where the days my friend; I thought they'd never end......
But I also sell other coins to feed my desire for newer purchases, which I don't count in the 5%.
