<< <i>Don't worry, you should get it by the end of March .
are these not for release due until the end of March? The seller advertised in his auction that the coin pictured was the one I would receive. It was a 2009

LOL, after reading some of that feedback I wouldn't doubt it. Their feedback hasn't exactly been stellar, but I wonder what has happened lately. ALOT of negs and neutrals lately. Has to be more to this story

Ooops .. my mistake ... those are all negs after you bought... He's got a problem in supplying what he's selling...
the precious metal makes a big move up during/just after the auction
the source bumps price
the seller can't get item or costs a couple hundred (with fees) more than sale
they delay hoping price drops
or some just skip town
This is not good link
Curious though, eBay says his POSITIVE feedback for the last year is 98.4%
When I do the math, 416 Positives out of a total of 438 is only 95%.
Is it that multiple feedback from the same buyer (whether pos or neg) is only counted as 1 feedback?
<< <i>Feedback is bad and the shipping time rating is awful. What did you expect?? >>
Their feedback went south after i won the auction

I believe that's true .. but only counted as one if left within 7 days of each other.
Will they ever listen?!

<< <i>Don't worry, you should get it by the end of March .
If thats the case, you may as well start calling eBay the US Mint.
<< <i>I keep on preaching that anything less than 99.9% feedback rating is dangerous.
Will they ever listen?!
JT >>
Not necessarily. I've had many good transactions with people around 99.6-99.9%. I definitely stray away from anyone with under 99.5

<< <i>Situation not good, but if this is a nightmare to you, you should count yourself lucky. >>
yeah, this really isn't a huge nightmare. I guess more like an annoyance.
Worst of all I used my 8% off ebay coupon on this.

I hate using my bank account for transactions that big. I don't think there are as many safeguards compared to using a credit card.
<< <i>It was a bank paypal transaction. >>
OUCH! File PayPal dispute immediately. Escalate to claim immediately.
Just pray that the seller has not swept his account entirely, otherwise you may wind up with the most painful of moral victories:
After careful review, we have concluded our investigation of the Buyer
Complaint described below.
We have decided in your favor, however, we were unable to recover any funds
from the seller's account. As stated in the PayPal User Agreement, recovery
of funds associated with a Buyer Complaint cannot be guaranteed.
In which case you are utterly screwed.
This is why, even if you have the funds in your bank account or PayPal account, PayPal purchases over a few hundred bucks (or whatever you're willing to lose) should ALWAYS be funded by credit card. Period. If necessary, sweep your account and then pay for the merchandise.
Bank or balance funded = you bear the liability if the seller is a fraud.
Credit card funded = PayPal effectively bears that liability.

Have you not seen? the flood of negs came after I won the auction. #2, I don't understand the logic of it being the buyer's fault when the buyer made good on the deal

My bad, speed reading again.
No Way Out: Stimulus and Money Printing Are the Only Path Left
"Be sure to give us five stars on the DSRs for this transaction. We strive to serve you and do our best blah blah blah... Remember five stars! blah blah blah!"
Sellers that beat this drum irk me. I'm not certain why. I understand that there is money at stake, but if there is nothing in it for me as a buyer...it sounds like whining. The star ratings should be earned through service and not whining.

It's good. We all do that. Trust me, I wouldn't have touched that auction with a ten foot pole if all those negs were already there.
