Now that is a prime example of why it is that I slog through pre 1971 proof and SMS sets at shops and shows looking for raw cameos. Every once and a while I have found coins that have the quality of the pictured 1963 Frankie in these sets. I have been able to pick these sets for bid. I then extract the cherry, replace it with a brilliant coin of the same date and resell the set. After a while, the box of cherries gets full and I start on another one.
Dang it that is one fine coin. Did you pick it up raw or did you acquire it slabbed? Kudos in any event, however if you picked it up raw for modest $, then "You Suck"

<< <i>P.S. Looking at the obverse lettering leads me to ask if the coin is strike doubled or if you have a minor doubled die on your hands? >>
Maybe a reflection in the mirror?
