eBay Seller Smoking Crack

Blows my mind that someone would waste the money and time to list an item for such an insane fixed price. It's their money so no sweat off my balls but I am amazed. Below is two auctions (no affiliation with either item or seller) for the same type of Pamp Suisse Fortuna 2.5 gram silver bar in assay card. One has a BIN $18.00 with free shipping which seems about fair for the piece, perhaps a tad bit high but still reasonable. The other auction is listing the bar for a BIN of $295 with free shipping, friggin' ridiculous. Even if that seller actually managed to sell it I'd have second thoughts about ever working with someone that would sell a $20 item for $300 to an unsuspecting and unknowledgable buyer. Profit is great but one must temper profit with morals in my opinion. Ok, moaning over...

  • Geeeez, I hope you arent looking at my auctions and that im trying to sell a 1/10th ounce piece of platinum for over $1200!!!image But you are correct, theres no reason why that bar should be even over $30 let alone close to $300!
  • I saw that as well, He may get someone to purchase it, I've seen worse. BTW, You have to smoke crack to be an eBay seller, Its the only way you can deal with the buyers w/o going nuts.
    Its all relative
  • I wonder if the seller would like to buy my matching 5g for discounted sum of let say (295 + 295 = 590) how about $450? It's twice the weight.
I doubt it, my silver looks like silver, where his silver looks like gold.
Remember, I'm pullen for ya; we're all in this together.---Red Green---
