Is anyone aware of any drawbacks when selling silver

In the form of kilo bars and coin. Would like anyones input would the metric weight be a disadvantage. Specifically Perth mint kilo bars. Thanks

It's 32 troy ounces, isn't it? Even thought the weight says Kilo, everyone thinks in troy ounces.

Yes. Always buy & sell in volume if you want market prices. Buying & selling in small weights will nearly always result in you losing a premium.

I've always wondered how big a problem drilling and filling was on 100 oz and larger silver bars. Seems like a lot of work to steal some silver and I would think that it would be fairly easy to detect.
