Which 1952 Topps Mantle would you rather have?

#1 This one has a BIN of $7,000 but is up for bids with a reserve that I am guessing might be $6,000?

image

#2 This one that sold for a little over $6,300 and is back up from the buyer at $8,500

image

#3 or this one that sold for $6,000 Best Offer

image

So which one? Are there hopes of finding a nice eye appeal PSA 2 for less than that? I believe it is cohocop on here who has 3 low grades ones that all have eye appeal. It is just so hard to find a sweet looking low grade one.

If it was me, I'd take the PSA 2.5

Forgetting about any prices, the 2.5 shows MUCH BETTER! Not even close, IMO!

centering the sgc on the bottom hands down obviously but a rough looking picture

the 2.5 is centered poorly but has a nice crisp picture
i take this one over the others

the crease on the face is distracting on the top one

PSA 2.5 would be my vote also.

The PSA and it's not even a close call. And that card #3, I would be sure looks considerably worse in hand.

The middle one, and as far as price goes, it's easily $1500 to $2500 better looking than the other two cards.
If he paid $6300 for it then he stole it in comparison to somebody paying $6000 for the bottom card.

I like the first card better, I'll bet the crease doesn't show that well in hand.

I thought paper loss was an automatic 1? But I would much rather have the 2.5 also, but like Steve said at a lower price. If the guy just bought it to flip he might sell it for a lesser profit for a quick good sale, maybe low-mid 7s?

Ditto for me...the 2.5 but it is currently priced too high.

PS - That is some major turnaround!! He just won the card on Feb 4th, and now here it is 10 days later for $2,300 more dollars!?!?!?! Talk about a price increase....maybe you should have sniped it last week if you really wanted it!

That reminds of the commercial where the guy wins the art painting at auction and turns around and wants to sell it immediately through the same auction!!!!!

Well, someone hit the BUY IT NOW on the $6300 Mantle for $8,500!!!!!!!! Not a bad profit at all for ONE WEEKS work!!!!! I guess buying and selling immediately through the same auction house isn't so funny after all!

Feedback on the buyer is not that high so I am not sure if he will get paid. That seller has a high % of relisted items.

All are centered good, and have great eye appeal that is hard to find in a 52 Mantle!

I'd take the SGC hands down. Centered much better. The PSA 2.5 should be a PSA 2 not a 2.5. There is paper loss on the bottom left corner ? So why is it a 2.5 ? Paper loss is a automatic PSA 2. I'd rather have a crease then a card that has paper loss. Especially when the paper loss is on the front. If it was on the back it would be a coin flip but the SGC card to me shows much better and it would show better in hand then in any scan.

I'd take the 2.5. Eye appeal is very important with the '52. I think I would be able to live with a little paper loss over a crease.

I would take the psa 2.5... The bottom one has too much snow for me, I could live with the small crease. The Top my eye would just go right to the crease everytime.. I could live with the paper loss on the PSA because the eye just does not go there right away..
