OT .. Collectors Universe Reports Results for Second Quarter Ended December 31, 2008

2d quarter earnings

Don't see any improvements, but the stock is up by more than 10% in after hour trading ... does not make sense. I suspect it will retreat tomorrow ....

    They stopped the cash divident pay outs last year & declared a 10% stock divident last quarter ... nothing for this quarter ... so they are doing what you suggested.

    The numbers were just horrific. Down 10% across the board in every segment. Yet they would be profitable were it not for the jewelry business. Said they are taking steps to cut costs but it doesn't look good.

    For our sake, I hope they can turn the corner.
