I'm a loser with a capital L...

...you would think I'd learn to just bid crazy money for the books and coins I want
but was much too timid for in the recent Kolbe and Goldberg auctions...recent miss-outs...

image

...I guess I'll console myself by buying a new pair of shoes and a tie...

Shoes look like the ones you click the heels together and say with eyes closed tightly,

I don't think that the shoes are so hot, no I don't like them at all!!!

The tie looks like something someone wore on Hawaii 5-0 and the shoes, well I don't know anyone with feet that long and that narrow that isn't an animated character. image

Prices seemed strong for the stuff I was looking at in the Goldberg Auction.

Don't beat yourself up, new shoes might actually make you feel better. image

If it's something I really want, I put my maximum bid in about half way
throught the day the auction ends.
I start with a "teaser" bid of about half that.

There's no corner deep enough for a bug to take refuge in when those shoes are being worn.

Those shoes look like they have "toe" extensions on them! What are they, about size 18?
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

    The name is LEE!
