Anyone have a Monarch Precious Metals silver bar?

Anyone here own one of these? They are selling a lot of silver on ebay and the bars look old poured even though they are not.

Would anyone trust new companies making silver or do you guys avoid them?

I bought ten 5 gram bars just because I thought they looked cool. Neat little product.

I have the one ounce, got it because I thought it was neat.

    Doesn't stack very well though...

They have been around for quite some time. Check their web site. I've bought several bars from them and they are made the old fashioned way---individually poured and then stamped. As they explain on their web site, each bar is hand made and slightly different which is part of their charm. I believe Silvertowne also still makes hand-poured bars.

My local dealer has a bunch of them right now, they even have some 1/2 oz rounds to with a butterfly on them. My local B&M has been in a business since 65, so I wouldn't see them messing around with something questionable and I know they definitely cautions these days.

Here's one of the one oz bars. The other side is polished and very smooth and mirror-like. Great bars!
