big gold and barber quarter

dug a very nice 1905s quarter today. a friend found a stash of probably stolen jewelry in one hole. after he was done, i went over and dug the bracelet. then after i was done, he went back and found a small gold chain. wow, feel bad for the person who lost that stuff. the bracelet is 14k and feels very heavy. my wife has already anounced that she will be wearing tomorrow. i may never see it again...

i'd love to give specifics on where i've been digging, but i can't. all i can say is, that we're hunting a very old location, in the middle of a very modern city. most of the people that live there have no idea about the local history.

this is my 4th peddlers license. i guess back then they had alot of street vendors.

That Barber is fantastic. From the pic, it appears to have a great amount of detail.
