One of my favorite sets, the only one I have left is the 1796...which will probably never happen, but here they are, all original (which is hard to find) and all PCGS (I will upgrade the 1806 eventually)
I think all of the coins that have been listed are quite nice...wanna trade for my 1806? Great 1804...wow, that is a tough coin, especially that nice and original.
Thanks to all that have posted. A few observations........
Not a lot of folks posting these so either..... They didn't see the thread, not a lot of folks have these tough coins, or they don't like them, OR, not a lot of folks like me!!!!!

Naw...it's probably more that, like me, most of us don't have the top dollar, knock-your-socks-off quality specimens like yours and the others that have already been posted, so we just sit back, watch, and drool a little.
So, just to represent the more average collectors on here, I'll post one anyway:

The boiler coin is superb...that is, I believe the strongest strike that I have seen on a draped bust quarter. Usually one side is weaker in terms of strike, but this is better than one can expect...on both sides. It looks nice too. If I found a quarter like that, I would think it was a fake...no bust quarters look that nice. (I'm not saying yours is fake...what I really mean is it is fantastical, unreal, dreamlike...in short...perfect.)
WOW, talk about drooling georgeous coins! I have 2, one is very worn but this is my second (It has appeared before but now it is home with its cousins here on this thread).

That looks like the Bust Quarter that Mark Feld had listed. You just beat me to the punch on that one.

That's one of the nicest coins I've seen on these boards -
Holy canoli....
<< <i>I agree that Boiler's quarter is off the charts, but look at those breast and tail feathers on QN's 1806 B-10.

Thanks JRocco!
The fact is that along with the B-9, the 1806 B-10 almost always comes very well struck. That is why Boiler's coin looks so good...it is a B-10!
Also his coin is an MS-64, where mine is only an AU-53.
Boiler, your coin was sold several times in the last 5 years and is tied with two other coins as the finest known for the B-10 die marriage...

<< <i>Great examples folks, thanks. Anybody notice grades were not discussed, and not necessary in this thread?
That's because grades are not important in appreciating the beauty of these small, round, historical time capsules...
Nice thread stman!
