Cards like that really make me question why I spend so much money buying 10s instead of 9s. I honestly think it's just kind of random what mint cards get bumped to a 10 gem mint.
I bought a 86 Fleer Nolan Ryan graded PSA 10 the other day, and it doesn't look near as nice as my 86 Fleer Ryan that graded PSA 9. In fact, the one in the 9 holder is flawless. The 10 has one terrible edge.
To me, a 10 should be perfect in every way: centering (front and rear), corners, edges, color, focus, no room for flaws anywhere. For many cards, a 10 would never exist, but that's OK. 9 is mint, and there is nothing wrong with a mint card.
Here's some scans from my 2nd cello box (plus I also ripped a lone rack pack!)
I was surprised how nice the corners were on the 2nd box, considering how bad a rap cellos can take. I like what I see with some of the commons (I have included a few examples of some commons here). I might be able to pull out a small handful of PSA 10s for my set!

ripped rack, ...cards were much too loose inside, ...just too many issues! ...for $10 bucks?
...was like 49 pulls on a 25 cent slot machine in Vegas! ...well, I helped the casino pay for a newer chandelier!
