Good Lord! Stan the Man came on here and accused this seller of being a scammer. Whether you like the way it was handled or not he was proven correct.
Instead of being grateful for outing a scammer people are calling him names, accusing him of being a liar and treating him like he is the bad guy here.
Hopefully, Stan saved somebody from being ripped off. I for one appreciate it.
And since you seem to also have a comprehension problem I did not accuse you of having to have the last word. I simply said I'd allow you the last word. Again a big difference.

That's not possible ^^, because you won't shut up.
Maybe Steve should focus on what is wrong with Steve, instead of falsely diagnosing others.

Thank you for the support. I appreciate it.
Yeah, if I was one of the more well-liked members of the little clique that sticks together on here, I would have been highly praised for outing this scammer.. Since I am not a popular member, or part of their little clique, I am being treated worse than the guy who was pulling the scam. Go figure.

It is good that you brought the SCAMMER to the attention of everyone.

I think it's pretty easy to understand. Let me try to put it all in a nutshell (feel free to correct any errors or omissions):
1. STM outs mnmiracle as a "shady seller" without offering anything other than stating he knows the seller also bought the card. STM offers no proof (puts some links in a later post after significant prodding from other board members), but states he doesn't want to harm his "source" and that he also had an issue with the seller in the past (although he doesn't explain the matter).
2. Other board members ask for proof, but STM insists he doesn't want to give out his "source," although just providing the links to the seller's account and the seller's buying account would not have given up any "source."
3. storm888 offers up the links to the two accounts, one being the seller's account and the other being suspected to be the sellers buying account. This could've been done by STM as I assume STM's source didn't contact storm888 and provide him with the links.
4. mnmiracle posts in a separate thread trying to discredit STM and pleads his case. Several board members jump on board and assume STM is wrong. mnmiracle came on here and posted a lie about how he obtained the card. The legal versus ethical aspect of what mnmiracle did in buying and selling the card are a matter of conjecture and suffice it to say, he's not the only one that does this.
5. mnmiracle's dual accounts are confirmed beyond the point of being coincidental.
6. STM wants all of the credit even though others provided the information that confirmed STM's accusations.
7. This thread has become an eddy of egos trying to see which has the bigger weiner and has plunged deeper into the cesspool of insanity.
8. Those still arguing refuse to budge and want to squeeze blood from a stone. Hint: It isn't going to happen...
The simple moral is if you want to out someone, do your homework, provide the specifics, details and backing evidence. Don't make someone else dig and provide the conclusive evidence.
Unless you can prove from the get-go, it's best to keep quiet rather than swirl up a poop-storm.
BTW, STM, since you consider yourself such a righteous human being, wouldn't it be prudent to refrain from the name calling and insults?
Anyway, I hope this Reader's Digest version captures the basic concept of this (and the other associated) thread.
Now, back to your regularly scheduled programming.

Well, this guy said it best. ^^^^ Pretty much sums it all up, no matter what some of you want to pop off at me. No matter how I would have went about it, it would have never been good enough, because the vendettas and hatred for me is what is the main underlying issue in this whole matter.
As the old saying goes; darned if you do, darned if you don't. I will stick to being my own person, and you guys can have your false sense of security in the little cliques that you have formed, that are used to pile on folks you don't care for. Little high school games at their finest..
Hard to believe that a PSA rejected modern created rarity, could sell for so much?

edit: I wish someone would post that original ebay auction link again. (Does anyone know why the mods nixed that original thread? Maybe mnmiracle2004 contacted the CU mods to have it erased??? He did state his reputation was at stake, so he might have convinced CU mods to delete the thread? Why else??????)

What a mess.

Gotcha, now I understand. I dunno....I dunno what to think regarding this guy.
I know that this was not the first thread I've read about him here either yet at the same time just because a card comes back from PSA as short does not mean he had to tell the world in his first description. Be nice if he did. I think he heard he was being bashed here and to save face used Nicks explanation and that snoballed on him.
You MAY want to edit your link, that has gotten people suspended in the past. Some uppity currency collectors don't have a sense of humor, so they made that taboo.

He could have done that here or in private.
He could have simply stated that he was going to contact miracle and that would have been the end of it.
He chose to ridicule the board, say we have no lives, all we want is drama, none of us were friends anyway etc.
That was the reason many here replied to this nonsense.
All anyone has to do is read his very first post in this thread and how he acted as if we were all a bunch of scum not worthy
of his time.
As for Scott I think you have number 3 and 4 backwards.
I had to reply seeing this was on page 2.

At least this time mr miracle is being a lil more forthcoming.

I enhanced them the same to try and see the same detail, nothing.
EDIT: Now that I look at it posted, I might have to take that back???
It's starting to look goodish
Steve
What makes you think it is a different card?
Steve
////////////////////
He thinks the card being "measured" might be a different card.
The photos are so bad, it is not possible to tell for certain.
Steve why do want to defend this guy, mnmiracle? And if you're not defending him, stop acting like an over zealous person with an axe to grind.
The one he tried to sell last week was numbered 295.
This time he states it was rejected. I must be missing something?
Axe to grind? yeah well that is typical of this place.

Steve
Like stone said, I don't think the card pictured with the ruler is card #295.
I've been playing with the two pictures, and I really don't think they are the same card.
And why should we expect him to be honest now anyway.
I personally don't care if you offend me on one thread, I can still debate with you on another.

The pics are NG.
There is no way to tell.
......
NOT saying the cards are the same. Saying it's not possible to tell from the pics.

But in my own personel opinion, stop the petty hatred for Stan. It's not worth it.
And it seems to lower your level of prestige, IMO.
And I wouldn't say that to piss you off.
